Our approach
At The Washington Center, our approach is simple: provide safety, structure, compassion, and opportunity.
We create a home-like environment where youth ages 10–17 can feel supported, respected, and encouraged to grow. Through consistent routines, caring staff, individualized support, and clear expectations, we help each resident build confidence, develop life skills, and prepare for a successful future.
Our care is rooted in trauma-informed support, positive relationships, accountability, education, and personal development. We believe youth thrive when they feel safe, seen, and guided with both compassion and structure.
